When we say plumbing, it refers to a lot of application related to fluids. Pipes, valves, fixtures, tanks, etc., which allow the movement of water for different purposes.   • To avoid the clogging of bathroom drains, it is wise to run down hot water at least once a week for free-flowing of water. Putting strainers in tubs and showers as well as keeping the strainer clean can avoid clogging as well.
  • It is important to know where to go when any problem is encountered. The main shut-off valve is the place to find to prevent flooding of water inside the home. Find this and be prepared to reach the place if any such situation occurs.
  • You need to have few emergency tools to tackle smaller problems that you encounter like dripping faucets, clogged drains etc.
  • Insulating the pipes with plastic insulation can help prevent the pipes from getting frozen in the intense winter months.
